Sam Wilket writes strange, surreal, and sometimes scary stories.
Sam’s work appears in publications including the Tahoma Literary Review and Coven of the East: Reclaiming Asian Women’s Magical Histories.
Her debut novel, A Good Daughter’s Ghost (Annick Press, forthcoming fall 2026) is a YA paranormal horror story about a babysitter who longs for a life that might destroy her.
Sam’s writing is influenced by her experiences as a second-generation Canadian of white British and Chinese descent, a member of a blended family, and a millennial X-Phile.
She currently lives in Toronto.
